The Generalitat Valenciana allocates 57.5 million of its own funds to these subsidies, which are intended to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus on the economy.
The beneficiaries may be people who meet the following requirements:
- Have been continuously registered in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers for at least the period between 31 December 2019 and 14 March 2020.
- To have suspended the activity as a consequence of the measures adopted by Royal Decree 463/2020, of 14 March or, in the case of maintaining the activity, to have reduced the invoicing corresponding to the month prior to the application for the aid by at least 75 per cent with respect to the average invoicing in the calendar semester prior to the declaration of the state of alarm. When the applicant has not been registered for the 6 calendar months required to accredit the reduction in income, the assessment will be carried out taking into account the period of activity.
- To have the fiscal address in the Comunitat Valenciana.
The amount of the aid will be 1,500 euros for people forced to suspend their activities by Royal Decree 463/2020, of 14 March; and 750 euros for the rest.
The payment of the aid shall be made once compliance with the requirements is justified by the documentation submitted with the application. The amount of the aid shall be paid in one instalment after the decision to grant it has been taken.
The period for submitting applications will begin at 9.00 a.m. on 8 April 2020 and end at 9.00 a.m. on 4 may 2020.
The application will be processed electronically, requiring the electronic signature of the applicant. The criteria for awarding the grant, until the available credit is exhausted, will be that of the time of submission of the application. For this purpose, an application will not be considered submitted until all the required documentation has been provided. In the event that different applications are completed at the same time, priority will be given to those submitted by persons with functional diversity and, failing that, by women.
