Pedro Heredia has been elected Secretary of the Social Council of Hercules F.C. by the Club’s Board of Directors.
His mandate will be for a period of one year and his functions, which are unpaid, will focus on taking minutes of the meetings, with the right to speak, but not to vote in the deliberations.
Pedro Heredia Ortiz was born in Alicante in November 1976 and studied Law at the University of Alicante. He is the Managing Partner of the prestigious international law firm Pellicer & Heredia, and for over 20 years has developed all of his professional career, mainly in the province of Alicante. He is one of the legal professionals who best understands the social, economic, commercial and international sector of the province of Alicante.
The Club has stated that Heredia is an independent person, with no ties, whether personal nor professional, be it direct or indirect with the Club or the companies or their owners linked to the Club. Therefore, he will carry out his work with the utmost impartiality.
The Alicante Hercules Football Club officially institutes in this way a body that aims to bring the club’s deliberations closer to its members, after years in which the distance between the two has been evident.
It is therefore a well-known petition among the Club’s management and fans, which responds to the request of the political groups represented in the Alicante City Council’s plenary session, who have requested that fans should be heard by means of an institutional declaration.
The first official meeting of the Social Council will be held on Friday, 9 July at 18:30 pm, at the Estadio José Rico Pérez in Alicante; which will be made up of one member from each supporters’ club, one member from the veterans’ association and the new secretary Pedro Heredia.
In this first assembly, the supporters’ clubs will give their opinion to the Board on the season ticket campaign, and on whether or not those who did not acquire the “commitment card” last season, but were season ticket holders in the 2019/20 season should benefit from the seniority discount.
